Prayer
Prayer is the communication that takes place between a person and God. It is when you make a connection with heaven. It connects the natural (material) man with the supernatural (immaterial) God in conversation. You are making your petitions known to Him. It is you speaking to Him and Him listening to you. His answering is not your prayer. His answering is a result of your praying. He answers prayers in according to His will so that His will may be done on earth as it is in heaven in our personal lives and the world. The Bible mentions various kinds of prayer. When praying, we make inquiries, personal petitions, intercessions, general narration, confession, praise, thanksgiving, and complaints.

"But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openingly."
Matthew 6:6
